Get to know the Owner Christina: NP, Mom, Wife & Chicken Mom
Christina Jelcic, sole owner of Jelcic Farms, is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner that specializes in interventional neurology. She is also the mother of a congenital diaphragmatic hernia survivor; Bradley.
The Jelcic Farm story revolves around Bradley’s diagnosis, the remarkable care he received and the compassion and heartfelt hospitality that the Ronald McDonald House offers it’s families.
Christina’s vision for this farm began while her family was staying at the Ronald McDonald house in Philadelphia. Due to Bradley’s condition, they were informed it would be in their best interest to leave their home and relocate to Philadelphia so that Christina could be closely monitored for three months before Bradley’s birth.
Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has a world renowned NICU for CDH babies, including the best highly specialized pediatric surgeons for this particular congenital malformation.
While staying at Ronald McDonald House the entire staff was so accommodating and hospitable they knew one day they had to give back. There is no dollar amount that can repay RMH for their continued support and services. Thankfully, Bradley has recovered and is doing well; however, CDH is a lifelong diagnosis that will require constant check-ups and continued care.
This isn’t just about selling eggs. This is about giving back to an extraordinary mission in helping families in need. RMH is set to open locally on Long Island in Stony Brook 2026! Jelcic Farms hopes to grow enough to be able to donate our eggs to their kitchen in the near future!

At Jelcic Farms, We Happily DONATE 10% of ALL SALES to RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES of the Philadelphia region. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality eggs to our community and our mission is to promote sustainable farming practices while ensuring the health and happiness of our hens.

-Our cost of running this small farm greatly outweighs our profits. So we are just trying to get as close to even as possible with just 27 Hens.
-10% goes to an incredible cause so the less we charge the less Ronald McDonald House Charities of Philadelphia will receive!!
